File Blocking Error

I have established SE 5.3 about one month back; the policy "Stop Media Files" for home folders of users was used - all worked perfectly. However since recent time of the policy has ceased to work; does not work even policy "Block All".
SE 5.3 has been removed and put anew; hotfix #14 is established - function of blocking does not work, thus Space Allocation Policy works perfectly. System Logs without mistakes, platform Win2003 SP1 Std.
What particularly does not work? How to correct?
I shall be grateful for any ideas....

    you assign the bloquin policy in a folder or a entire volume?
    Maybe you check the passive check box in the policy?

    did you try restarting the Filescreen service ? also check the policy if you're doing any folder filtering ... something might be set in there. Another thing that you can check is in the global file blocking properties setting and see if a group is excluded from blocking.
