Question for VEA client connection to server
Hi all,
We did face a problem about using VEA.
Storage foundation 5.0 with mp3 and rp1 is installed in Solaris 10, with VEA client installed on Windows platform. If we used vea in Solaris to connect localhost, it’s able to make the connection and see the disk information.
However, if we type IP address in VEA client to connect Solaris 10 platform, it shows that v-39-53247-1, could not connect to server.
We did run the command “/etc/init.d/isisd status”, it shows running.
We did other test that using VEA in the Solaris 10 to connect other Solaris 10’s VEA server, it did the same result, we did not able to connect it. It seems that the VEA is able to connect to localhost only?
Recall from 4.0 and 4.1, it did allow to connect cross host, and did 5.0 changed about it? Or we miss anything or any place to add back a client list?
Thanks,
Xentar
