I've 1 server & 2 Sun StorageTek 2540 storage connected through SAN. Solaris-10 is running on the server & VxVM 6.0 has been installed.
But i'm getting only one enclosure name for both the storages.
Please suggest.

What output you are referring ? is it the "vxdisk list" or "vxdmpadm listenclosure" ?
you can use vxdmpadm setattr command to give meaningful name to enclosure
for example:
# vxdmpadm setattr enclosure enc0 name=GRP1
This example changes the name of an enclosure from enc0 to GRP1.
Note: The maximum length of the enclosure name prefix is 23 characters.
The following command shows the changed name:
# vxdmpadm listenclosure all
ENCLR_NAME ENCLR_TYPE ENCLR_SNO STATUS
============================================================
other0 OTHER OTHER_DISKS CONNECTED
jbod0 X1 X1_DISKS CONNECTED
GRP1 ACME 60020f20000001a90000 CONNECTED

its showing only one enclosure, whereas we have two storage connected, so it should show two enclosure.
How are you certain that 2 storage devices are infact connected ?
Does OS see two different stroage devices ? provide format & luxadm outputs

I'm sure that we have 2 storages conected.
We have two StorageTek 2540 connected with this server. Each storage is having 67 LUN created & mapped with host. So total we have 134 LUNs.
I'm able to see all 134 LUNS in format output.

Above suggests that same array is hosting 134 Luns & not the 2 separate arrays. Quite possible that two connected paths mentioned in luxadm output are multipaths to each other ?

Do you have 2 arrays connected or 2 enclosures connected ? You have 134 luns seen from the same array ( may be having 2 enclosures ).
For e,g :
If you have multipathing enabled you will see 67 * no of paths = no of luns in your format output.

Hi Novonil,
I've two storage "StorageTek 2540" (Each storage is having two controller) conected to Server through SAN switch. I'Ve multipathing enabled in Solaris.
If i shutdown 1 storage, 67 LUNs are disappeared from format output. So it's clear that 67 LUNs are coming from each storage.
Now the problem is VxVM is understanding that LUNs are coming from one enclosure, whereas we two storage physically.
We have one more same setup in different site & everything is ok there, there also we have two storages & each is having 67 LUNs & in VxVM both the enclosure are showing.
