Whta is LUN mapping
hi All,
Can anybody tell me what is LUN mapping in basic terms.
I know what is the difference between zoning and LUN masking.
But what is this LUN mapping and what happens if we do not do LUN mapping?

Mapping is through which Front end ports the LUNs will be available?
Lun mapping has nothing to do with Storage Foundation.
It is a function of the storage array in your environment.
So, when you know the make/model of your array, type this into Google:
<array-name> lun mapping
