What is the question mark mean?

    This occurs if it is unable to obtain the status of the past backups, i.e. the status is unavailable.

    If the backup destination is non-Windows NAS devices, then it is expected as per http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH214450

    In case you are swapping the drives and the drive is not connected, it will display a Question mark
