Backup Exec System Recovery and Tape Drive


Hello All,

   We have a Dell Server PE2900 with IBM Tape drive. I am running Windows 2008 Small Business Server 64-bit. I have installed Backup Exec System Recovery 2010 and would like to perform a daily backup to the tape drive. However, i do not see the tape drives listed. Is there any special way to do so? Do i need an additional software? Any help would be highly appeciated.

    thanks for your reply david. i had backup exec and they told me it wasnt compatible with my version of windows 2008 smallbusiness server 64bit. So they(symantec) had me purchase BESR and now i cant see the tape drive.. i will look into the article u provided. Thanks again, i will keep you posted.
