Backup Exec System Recovery Option Question

Hi,
 
We are considering buying Backup Exec System Recovery Option as a compliment to our existing Backup Exec 11d for Windows. Some of our servers have Backup Exec 11d installed but the servers where we want to install the System Recovery Option doesn't have it and are only using Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows. My question is, will Backup Exec System Recovery Option work with  Backup Exec Remote Agent or does it require the full Backup Exec 11d software installed on the servers?
 
My other question is, can you restore a recovery point from Windows interface using the System Recovery Option or it only works with the Backup Exec System Recovery full version?

    Hello M2A,
     
    Backup Exec System Recovery (BESR) is compatible with BE Remote Agents.  Avoid using CPS (Continuous Protection Service) with machines that have BESR installed.

    Specifically, recovery options are the same.  Note that ONLY non-OS drives may be restored within Windows.  Also be careful when restoring drives that have Engines installed on one drive and databases installed on other drives.  Date/Time mismatches can cause problems with some database programs.
