BESR 2010 restore to disparate hardware

I was using BESR 2010 to clone a raid drive to an SSD so I used the Restore Anywhere option.  This was a domain client computer and it appears that the restore changed the computer name and also reset the SID with sysprep.  The computer could not connect to the domain after restore and reconnecting to the domain wiped out the user profile.  This of course make the user very unhappy.  Is there something I should have done differently?
