please help me I have a very serious problem

Hello everyone! I have a very serious witth Backup Exec System Recovery
I just make a backup first it was a real server
smoothly, and I want to know how to perform a second
backup in the same directory but remove the old
automatically backs up? thank you guide me please because I
have strengthened to a situation of space each backup it
multiplies.

    You need to limit the number of recovery points to 1.

    However, even with it set to 1 you still need enough space for 2. This is because the new recovery point has to be created before the existing one is removed.

    So you need to calculate how large your recovery point is against the size of the backup destination.

    Are you doing full backups only (independent) or full+incrementals (recovery point set)?

    Are you saying that you only want 1 full backup?

     thanks a lot ,

     

    I did the full backup, and I want the next backup to replace it automatically, I Do not Want To Have restore points by multis What I have a space problem, how  the next backup can  remove the previous automatic

    But are you doing full only (known as independent) or full+incremental backups? The default is full+inc (known as a recovery point set backup).

    If you start creating a new backup job (no need to finish the wizard), you will see what I mean.

    I do a full backup,

    but I do not want the next backup it can create other reatuartion point, I wish I could simply remove it to replace the previous one for the new backup. is that possible with version 8.5

    I pay my pack symantec 3 licenses (windows serevr agent)

      please help me I want to implement a backup solution in a business with your software

    ok thank you,  I just see where I can limit the restore points before it was 3 and now I have selected only one thank you very much.
