Powershell backup and restore a folder

Is it possible to backup and restore a single folder using powershell in SSR 2013 (please don't direct me to the powershell scripts in the docs folder - none of them answer my question)

    To clarify; are you talking about doing both backup & restore with PowerShell?

    Or just restore? If just restore, can you confirm what type of backups you are doing - volume level or file/folder level?

      Backup and Restore. Let say for example I want to copy f:\Test1 and f:\Test2 folder. Then restore these 2 folders and a new server.

      Automating the backup and restore using powershell.
