We are trying to make the VHD on a NAS drive. Anyone seen this before?

We actually discovered that this was not caused by the NAS disk. It was caused by an Recovery Disk that existed on the Dell servers we tried to restore. If we deselected them from the recovery all went fine.

  • Yes we are running the newest release, liveupdate doesent find anything.

Yes we are able to write to the nas, it's the same location (Different folder) that we make the backup to in the first place.

  • Hm, I can't find anything, sorry- can you open a case for this ? I think this will be the most effective way to find the reason for the error.

  • No we never got this fixed. Only by moving the files away from the NAS (Seagate NSA110) over to an Windows Server did it run.
