I think if you just delete the rpam file a new full backup and with that a new rpam file will be created.

RPAM has not been updated since 20.nov. That day my backup drive hand a change of drive letter because a Microsoft recovery partition which did not have a drive letter unexpectedly got a drive letter. I had to unwind that so my backup jobs would recognize my backup drive. Is there a fix? Is it OK to delete the RPAM file?
