SSR 2013 PreSnap failed

Hello,

I have problem with backups on some of computers in our network enviroment. I have tried everithing what found on Symantec Connect but nothing helps for these three computers. I have tried restart, disable UAC, delete and restore registy records for SSR and nothing helps. For other 25 computers I don't have such a problem. Here is error which I see. Does anyone have something in mind what can be possible reason for error ?

  • Download link on first KB doesn't work. I have tried to find it several times, with no succes. Second KB is not available for my case.

  • Have PM'd you the download link. And here are the instructions for running fixinstall.bat

    To repair an existing install of SSR 2013:

    1. Download SSR2013Fixinstall.bat to the following directory, overwriting the existing file if prompted. If required, rename the file from SSR2013Fixinstall.bat.txt  to SSR2013Fixinstall.bat:

      C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec System Recovery
       
    2. Right-mouse click on the file and choose Run As Administrator. A command prompt box will open while the file runs and will close when complete.
    3. Reboot the system.
    4. The repair of the SSR 2013 installation is now complete.

    I´ve got a similar error.

    I have SSR2013 installed on a Server2008R2 and when i try to run a backup job it shows this error:

    "Error EC8F17B7: No se pueden crear puntos de recuperación del trabajo: Copia de seguridad diaria de xxxxxxxxxxx).
        Error E0BB00B5: Error de instantánea Error EBAB03F1: El siguiente error del sistema operativo se produjo cuando se realizaba la operación solicitada: 'Error no especificado.'. (UMI:V-281-3215-6071)".

    Looking for some info on Internet i found this "http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH176836" and when i try "vssadmin list providers" it only shows 1 provider: "Microsoft Software Shadow Copy provider 1.0".

    Is there a way to reinstall /re-register the VSS???
