System Recovery 2013 R2 - Conversion to VHDX

Hi All!

I am looking at performing P2V on a Dell server to HyperV using System Recover 2013 R2.  As I have seen, the one-time conversion to VHDX can take a very long time for the partition which has over 800GB.  My question is this:  If I schedule the conversion and have it run initially on a fresh full backup, are subsequent scheduled conversions only run to merge incremental backups into the originally created VHDX file?  Or is a new VHDX created each time?

I am trying to pare down the time it will take to move from one to another.
