To upgrade System Recovery 2013 R2 to System Recovery 16 or 18. Which do I need?

I use Veritas System Recovery Desktop Edition 2013 R2 to backup a desktop & laptop.  They are independent computers.  There is no network or server.  My license expired.  Do I need to upgrade to VSR 16 or would VSR 18 be a better choice?  Please help.

      I was under the impression that VSR 18 was only for servers and not for stand alone laptops.  Am I wrong?  There are so many versions that I am having a problem choosing the right one for just backing up one laptop.  I had used Symantec Ghost for 10 years until I switched to VSR 13.  Thanks for your help.

        With VSR16 and VSR18 you have a server and a desktop edition. So for your Laptop you need desktop edition.
