VSR-L failed to backup

Can the backup fail when the OS NATIVE DEVICE changes?

ex.)

/dev/sda -> /dev/sdis   (root space)

System Info.

OS : Redhat Linux 6.3

VSR : VSR-L 18

    As I mentioned before, I would expect (although never tested it) the backup to fail if the device name changes.

    Yes, I would expect the backup fail in this scenario.

    You would either need to modify the job, or create a new backup job for the new device.

      I have been using cron to apply the script. It can not be backup when the os native device changes.

      backups affected if the root native device changes?
