VSR22 manager with external SQL server?

So, I was trying to install VSR22 manager, and it automatically tried to install SQL express. So, it is not possible to use VSR22 manager with an existing instance of SQL server?

    Correct it uses its own instance of SQL Server Express 2019 - there is no option to use a customized instance.
