Expired license Backup Exec 16

I guess this is a very simple question for experienced Backup exec administrators, which is not my case, in our small company we have backup exec16 the license has expired, I have already purchased the renewal, I have seen the license renewal process through the wizard my question is, when running the wizard should I delete the expired license and add the new license, if the old license is deleted the jobs that are already scheduled to run are also deleted or are they kept with the new license.
