Classification Requirements

Warning

At least one test for Classification requirements has resulted in a warning.

The File Server Resource Manager feature in Windows is installed and enabled.
Required only for Enterprise Vault classification using the File Server Resource Manager (FSRM) in Windows, and not classification using the Veritas Information Classifier. To deploy FSRM classification rules to servers, the Microsoft Data Classification Toolkit is required on the source deployment computer. To download and install the toolkit, go to https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh204743.aspx
If you have configured the Veritas Information Classifier to use HTTPS with SSL, you may have imported your SSL certificate into the Java keystore (cacerts). Each time you upgrade Enterprise Vault, it installs a new version of the keystore that overwrites the old one. To protect against the loss of your certificate, the upgrade process first takes a backup copy of the old keystore. You can export your certificate from this and then import it into the new keystore. For more information, see http://www.veritas.com/docs/000126903.

DCOM

Warning

DCOM is enabled.
Enterprise Vault requires network access to be allowed to the Enterprise Vault server via the DCOM protocol. Firewalls protecting network access to the server must be configured to allow access via the RPC Endpoint Mapper Port (TCP Port 135) and RPC Dynamic Ports. The RPC Dynamic Ports may be configured to a different range of port numbers on the Windows server. For more information, see http://www.veritas.com/docs/000041864.
The Windows Firewall is enabled and configured to allow DCOM activation on the RPC Endpoint Mapper Port (TCP Port 135).
The Windows Firewall is preventing DCOM requests on the RPC Dynamic Ports. These ports must be unblocked in the Windows Firewall settings for DCOM to work correctly.

IMAP Ports

Warning

Enterprise Vault supports IMAP connections. If you want to use this feature then an IMAP port is required on each Enterprise Vault server that hosts the Enterprise Vault IMAP server. Typically IMAP uses port 143, or 993 for secure connections.
