Does anyone know if Veritas will continue to support v3.3.0.1 appliance instances even if the 5230 hardware underneath has gone EOL ?

I have had it confirmed from the vendor then when an appliance is listed as EOL then this means that the whole appliance is EOL, and not just the hardware layer alone, and so therefore a separated layer of software support cannot be acquired.

sdo,

I can also confirm this is correct.  We had software support with Veritas and hardware support with a 3rd party and while we were originally told by Veritas that this was acceptable when we later opened support cases we were denied.  We're working with Veritas Consulting now to migrate the catalogs off those appliances.
