NBU 5250 Flex 2.x has not command in Flex Shell Command menu for scan/rescan fibre channel. This option is from Flex Shell Console. If I change VM datastore size ( where SAN backup is used) then reboot of appliance is recommended - see this https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100046079 I'd like rescan/scan these changes without reboot of appliance and Flex Shell Console + Rescan FC finished with an error.
I am in the same situation and was wondering if you got anywhere with this request. We are using a Flex 5350 and have to stop the instance to do a rescan. That process is not viable long term for us.
