Hi,
As I have been looking for HA capability to implement in my data center, I am looking around in the internet.
What's the comparison between Symantec solution and the VMware HA ?
I am confused here ?
Solved! Go to Solution.

ApplicationHA and VCS One (Symantec solutions) monitor the application so can failover if application fails as well as if system fails. Historically, VMWare has only failed over if system failed, but not sure if latest offerings from VMWare now monitor applications as well.

Both have its own benefits. Its up to you what fits in to your environment. For a clear understanding the use of VMWARE HA i have a video for your reference.
What you want to archive or what sort of HA you want to implement

Here are some additional ApplicationHA sources that you might find helpful.
