Configure GCO with vvr in linux

Totoal number of node on primary site 7. Management ip for all 7 nodes are defined and following are service gorup name with ip service group name 1- IP 10.1.1.1 service group name 2- IP 10.1.1.2 service gorup name 3- IP 10.1.1.3 service group name 4- IP 10.1.1.4 service group name 5- IP 10.1.1.5 Secondary site 3 nodes Managment ip for all 3 nodes are defined . If i want to configure GCO with VVR in this scenario. How many ip address required on both the nodes

Hi ktandel,

You will need a virtual IP for each VCS cluster (prod + dr) that will be used to manage connectivity between the clusters.  So, you will need two (2) IPs for GCO.

For VVR, the number of IPs needed will depend on the number of replicated volume groups (RVGs) you plan to configure.

Assuming that you are creating one RVG per service group on the Primary site, you will need a total of 14 IP addresses for VVR (7 IPs for the Primary site, and 7 for the Secondary site).

This brings the total IP address count to 16 for this configuration.
