Issues with SRT creation:-
- Issue 1:-
Environment:-
Oralce Linux 6.7 as boot server
Netbackup verson 7.6.1.1.
ERROR:-
3PPCD CD ISO is giving the Permission denied error
/nbu3pp/bmr-verchk.sh: Permission denied
Error Message:-
The following media is required:
Symantec BMR Third-Party Products CD (3PPCD)
Please load the media now.
Load media from (? for help) [/dev/cdrom] : /nbu3pp
sh: /nbu3pp/bmr-verchk.sh: Permission denied
V-125-657 This program is too old or incompatible with the media.

Symantec BMR Third-Party Products CD (3PPCD)

Reason:-
Downloaded ISO images files are not Owned by root user, copy these files to another folder to get the root owership on these files to resolve the issue.
Solution:-
Copy these files to another folder to get the root owner ship on these files and use the new path in SRT creation to resolve the issue.
- Issue 2:-
Environment:-
Oracle Linux 6.7 as boot server
Netbackup version 7.6.1.1.
ERROR:-
Below error after providing the Symantec BMR Third-Party Products CD path
V-125-50 cannot extract file "/usr/sbin/lsusb" from RPM "/usr/openv/netbackup/baremetal/server/data/media/x86_64-RHEL-67272/usbutils.rpm"
V-125-39 caught exception: runtime error in srtPlat.cpp:ExtractRpmFiles()
[Error] V-125-267 Cannot prepare boot files for this SRT.
Reason:-
usbutils rpm is not installed in boot servers, install the missing rmp to resolve this issue.
Solution:-
Make sure usbutils rpm is installed on the boot server, if not install the rpm in boot server and try the SRT creation again.
- Issue 3:-
Environment:-
Oracle Linux 6.7 as boot server
Netbackup version7.6.1.1.
Error:-
Adding netbackup setup to SRT is falling as it is not able to install the PBX
Log file from iso path provided at the time of SRT creation (<ISOpath>/var/tmp/)

Reason:-
Few lib files from package nss-softokn-freebl is not installed at the time of packages creation in SRT.
Solution :-
Modify file /usr/openv/var/global/createsrt.conf to install all files under Respective OS section and them try creating the SRT again.
nss-softokn-freebl /usr/lib64/libfreebl3.so /lib64/libfreebl3.so --> commented under Enterprise Linux 6
nss-softokn-freebl ALL --> added this line
