Microsoft introduced several new storage management features in Windows Server 2003. In
Windows Server 2008, they extend functionality to include the ability to shrink partitions and
volumes online and DSMs to configure multi-pathing in iSCSI and FC environments. This paper
will outline how Veritas Storage FoundationTM for Windows integrates and co-exists with, and
compliments these new features, and extends the capabilities of Windows with several features
of its own.
