OpenStack summit is next week and I am looking forward to attending and learning from various organizations as they navigate their OpenStack journeys. One area of interest for me is storage management and how enterprises are addressing their storage needs as they deploy OpenStack as the foundation of their cloud infrastructure. While OpenStack is a credible cloud platform and adoption seems to be growing rapidly, the available storage management capabilities are not enterprise grade.
