Hi,
I am trying to run BE Appliance initial configuration, I have entered a static IP.
But I don't have DNS Server or DHCP server , When I entered any DNS IP it give an error that the DNS server IP is incorrect or the server does not exist. And
can't skip the DNS step.
Any one can help ?

I have opened a case with Symantec Support and this what they send :
Please refer to the below mentioned article, the Step 7 in the initial configuration requires DNS or DHCP Setting by design.

-I have checked this, But this show the normal configuration steps.
-My main issue that I don't have DNS Server or DHCP server, And if I added static IP I must add DNS server
and to avoid adding the DNS server I must use the DHCP to add IP

...reason for not using DNS?
How does your network resolve name/IP then?
Thanks!
