Hello,

I wish to login (thru mstsc) to BE3600R2 appliance in order to troubleshoot some dns issue or/and add entries to etc\hosts file.

Basically the BE3600R2 appliance is a Windows Server, so I guess it is possible ...

Many thanks !

...it is a Windows-based server but severely locked down! Only Symantec support can enable this for you, so log a call with them to do so!

Thanks!

Hello,

Craig is absolutely right.

An mstsc shall only help to create a RDP shortcut on the administration workstation.

An alternative way;

Check the IP address of the BE3600 Applaince.

Login to the Web GUI; https://<IP_address_appliance>

Check the attached Getting Started Guide - BE3600 R2 for the Web GUI access procedures.

Best Wishes.
