What is the difference between Backup Exec 3600 Appliance & NetBackup Appliance

obviously the product; netbackup is an enterprise product, backupexec is a mid-size market product.

netbackup appliances have more capabilities than backupexec appliances. Netbackup supports more products than backupexec does.

why you try to compare a car with a truc?

NBU will support UNIX for instance. Check my post below which solved the OP's question!

The NBU appliance can also be expanded...the BE appliance can't. You're going to have 5.5TB of deduped disk space to backup too on the BE 3600.

Also note that the BE 3600 appliance is being discontinued from next year.  See this blog
