We have a Backup Exec Appliance 3600 R2 with product version 3.0.422.0 (Stand Alone).
My Backup Exec 2012 is Version 14.0 Rev. 1798 (64 Bit) when try running "Live Update" in BE3600 Browser (Manage - > Upadate Information -> Check and Download Updates) i don't get upgrades.

I Have internet acess, and I already uptade some windows updates (64 Hotfix) and Appliance Updates ( 4 HotFix = Backup Exec Appliance 3.0.419.0 Hotfix 186816, Hotfix 209022, Hotfix 206583 and Hotfix 209565.
I try running live update from Backup Exec 2012 Console, but i get the same information.
Open Symantec Support Case, but i wait a reply about this issue.
Some people any a idea about this issue. I don't get any error in live Update, Please Help me.

Hi Nuno,
Try updating your appliance manually using the update patch to SP3. Pleas see link below.

Check and make sure that the firewall isnt blocking port 80 (HTTP), 21 (FTP) , port 443 (HTTPS). Refer to this link: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH49563

How updating backup exec 2012 to SP3 manually ? i do not acess into appliance to put files, install remote ?

The first troubleshooting option was the firewall, and I've been monitoring the traffic when I "update check" but I do identify only request to a 195 ... (Live update server?) But did not get any reply trafic, for the test I opened all traffic and unable to get the same result.
I only got 3 ou 4 hotfix for be2012 .

Hi Nuno,
The process i did before was manually updating using an external drive (USB).
I have copied the patch on the appliance then run the setup. It works fine with me.

You can enabele remote desktop services on the appliance..Kindly see this link below..

Just run the setup and istall it..Restart your appliance and then update client software agents..
