Full Appliance_Dedupe storage

I have a situation where my on-appliance storage is completely full, and I want to initialize it and start over. Does anyone have any knowledge how to accomplish this? I realize I can go into the storage itself, select Backup-Sets, and delete them individually, but I do not believe all my backup sets are actually listed there.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi Sdunkin,

in my opinion I would go to factory default directly, the appliace will be up in 30 minites after this you only need to download the updates and recreate the jobs. Otherwise you need to take a look at this technote.

A different way would be that you use the coppy server setting feature that comes with backup exec. You need to set up a different BE to who you can coppy the settings and after doing the factory defaults you can copy it back.

Best regards

Looking on the console of the server itself, appears that the data is actually stored in d:\appliance_dedupe\data. Anyone know issues with deleting the data directly from this location?
