10.1 Compatibility with Windows Server R2

I know that CPS is not compatible with R2 since it is explicitly listed as such in article:

http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/279389.htm

I would like to install the regular remote agent (NOT CPS) on an R2 server, but there is not mention of it in the standard 10.1 compatibilty article:

http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/278254.htm

Before I install the standard backup exec remote agent on a production server I would like an explicit confirmation/deinial of compatibility with Server 2003 R2. Note: the R2 server in question is running DFS replication which is probably the reason why its not compatible with CPS although I don't know if it would have any effect on standard backup exec.

Thank you

Hello,

Since the Windows server R2 is not yet mentioned in the SCL, we cannot guarantee its functionality. It isn't there on SCL yet as it has not been explicitly tested with Backup exec.
