10-D Trial setup

I've got BE 9.1 setup in exactly the same way as I'm setting up the 60 day trail of 10D. 9.1 works fine with backup-to-disk but 10D keep saying "The system cannot find the path specified". The drive is mapped, I can browse to the drive add and delete folders but 10D can't connect to it? Nothing in event viewer on either machine so I'm at a loss as to why?

Hello,

To resolve the issue please do the following:

1. Make sure the backup service account (BESA)has local administrative rights on the folder which is shared remotely.

Give full permissions to the backup exec account on this folder.

2.Also make it member of "domain admin" group.

3.Also verify that the disk where you want to create the backup folder has sufficient free space.

Well that's a problem. The remote server is a stand alone system not part of the domain.
