-255 the buffer dependencies were set improperly and there was a recovery failure

Hiya,

Im getting the following error message back from our backup log:

-255 the buffer dependencies were set improperly and there was a recovery failure

The backup has run, and both mailstores are backed up completely. But im getting the error message as shown above. The link presented in the backup log doesnt send me to a knowledge base article where i can find a solution.

Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

Exactly which product version are you using and what type of backup and restore are being performed.

As an aside if you have Backup Exec System Recovery and not Backup Exec  you have posted in the wrong forum.
