65Mb/Minute on a local server!

Hello,

I am backing up local media server files to a SCSI connectedDell PV124T and I've been getting a performance of  65Mb/min. Server is dell 2950. Poor performance started occurring few days ago. I used to get 500-600Mb/min backups on local and remote servers but now speed has dropped almost 90%. Any ideas here?

(Naturally I have booted everything.)

Any changes to the media server?

MS Service?  BE Service Pack?

from the devices tab, right click the tape drive\Properties

What are the settings for

Block size, Buffer size and number of buffers?

Also for both "Single block" settings?
