8.6 build 3878 support w2k sp4?

Does 8.6 support service pack 4 on windows 2000? I have looked at the compatibility page for 8.6 and sp4 is not listed.

I have not updated all my servers to service pack 4 yet. I run IDR on all my servers, and I use the Windows 2000 install CD integrated with service pack 3 to create the CD image. Will I have to order a windows 2000 install CD integrated with service pack 4 to create new cd images after applying sp4?

I am just now updating build 3808 to 3878, and I see hotfixes 24, and 44 that I need to apply too.

I am running version 8.6 with Hotfix 24 & 44, however, after installing Hotfix 44 (Document ID 251758) the following error appears as soon as i start running DR Prep Wizard for cd bootable media ............ ERROR opening "\\machine_name\c$\Program Files\Veritas\Backup Exec\NT\IDR\Disk4\Benchmrk.vs_" The system cannot find the file selected. What do i have to do to produce CD bootable media, using windows 2000 server CD SP3 ??????????

I ran into the same thing after applying hotfix 24 & 44. I never found the pop-up error message that your talking about in the knowledge base, but found the error messages that appeared in the gray scroll box. I had to follow the fixes in the following 2 documents:

(make sure your tape drive is still supported before this one)

After doing both to them, I was finally able to create my IDR CD's.
