Is the 9.1 agent for Unix compatable with BE 12?

I had to call in to support to find my answer and that is that you have to pay for the Linux agent now for BE 12.
 
I'm disappointed that Synamtec whats you to use these forums so you dont have to call in but the end user can't get simple answers.

The agent for 9.1 will not work on 12. I had to call to find out that my linux version that use to be supported is now no longer supported. To backup my data I must setup Samba and do a custom backup.
