I cannot backup Win7 on machines that come pre-loaded from Dell.
However, backups work on machines that we have upgraded to Win7,

which includes Win7 Ultimate and Win7 Enterprise on 64-bit workstation.

Your RAWS agent is installed on those Dell machines, correct?
Have you checked the security settings on them IF your RAWS agent is installed? Anything like UAC/antivirus/firewall blocking the application from running on them?

Checked the compatiblity list, and it states a Hotfix (HF 331998...just double-check) needs to installed. But if you can connect to other Win7 PCs, that cannot be the problem. If you don't have it, install it just in case.
however, looks like you might be looking at logging a call with Symantec over this one. Let us know what they say!
