Hi, Im getting the error when running a duplicate job to tape. Any odeas?

Did the orignal job Completed Successfuly  ?

Make sure the media used by the original job is not overwritten by another backup job .

Are there any event viewer messages corresponding to the job failure. Also, is there a Deduplication device involved. If there is, it might be associated to a known issue in BE 2010 http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH158533

Hi

Im using be12. the original full backup completed fine. all tape backups are set to not allow overite at all. i dont think it is a deduplication issue as its just started to show up. these backups have been running since feb.
