A tape that continues to move from one slot to another without someone manually moving it

We currently use Backup Exec 15. There is one tape that continues to move from one slot to another. This doesn't happen everyday but from time to time. For example the tape is supposed to be in slot 14 but gets moved to slot 6 without anyone moving it manually. Please advise. Thannks!

To be honest, I am not sure why this is a problem. Backup Exec will manage the tapes so it doesn't matter where the tapes are. It will know what tape is required, scan the library and if it isn't physically located in the library, prompt for it.

The only other way to stop this is to partition the library, although this would be to physically assign slots and tapes to specific jobs.
