Hello,

I'm running three different jobs in Backup Exec 9.0 Rev. 4367. I am getting an error in one of them.

Error: 57859

DATABASE TO pipe = '\\.\pipe\BackupExecSqlAgent-{2fc5a14b-1959-4041-949f-91e8e4cf7fb2}-00'".
On server: "SERVERNAME".
SQL error number: "0C82".
SQL error message: "Write on '\\.\pipe\BackupExecSqlAgent-{2fc5a14b-1959-4041-949f-91e8e4cf7fb2}-00' failed, status = 232. See the SQL Server error log for more details.
".

Error: 17055

3041 :
BACKUP failed to complete the command BACKUP DATABASE TO pipe = '\\.\pipe\BackupExecSqlAgent-{2fc5a14b-1959-4041-949f-91e8e4cf7fb2}-00'

The event id: 17055 is related to the MSSQL services .

Please create a folder 'backup' within C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL$BKUPEXEC. Start backup and verify the result.

Also make sure that your SQL related services are running properly.
