AOF/VSS Related errors backing up remote server?

Hi,

I am receiving the following errors from my backup server v10 SERVER1, which is remotely backing up SERVER2 using the agent:

Backup- SERVER2 AOFO: Initialization failure on: "\\SERVER2\Shadow?Copy?Components". Advanced Open File Option used: Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS).
Snapshot provider error (0xE000FED1): A failure occurred querying the Writer status.
Check the Windows Event Viewer for details.
Writer Name: Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, Writer ID: {BE9AC81E-3619-421F-920F-4C6FEA9E93AD}, Last error: The VSS Writer ran out of memory or resources (0x800423f1), State: Failed during freeze operation (9).  Consult your Microsoft documentation for details. Check the Windows Event Viewer for corresponding application or system errors.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I fix this? :)

I am having the exact same problem, however we are using version 12.5

if anyone has any ideas this would be very helpful.

i was off by small bit on the details of the error i am experiencing.  here is the full details:

Snapshot provider error (0xE000FED1): A failure occurred querying the Writer status.

Check the Windows Event Viewer for details.

Writer Name: Registry, Writer ID: {AFBAB4A2-367D-4D15-A586-71DBB18F8485}, Last error: The VSS Writer ran out of memory or resources (0x800423f1), State: Failed during prepare snapshot operation (8).

The following volumes are dependent on resource: "C:" .
The snapshot provider used by VSS for volume C: - Microsoft Software Shadow Copy provider 1.0 (Version 1.0.0.7).
