AOFO software does not appear to be installed correctly on \\SERVER

i have installed backupe exec 2010 on Windows 2003R2 server.

When i click on tools - Wizards - Advanced open file option wizard... i get the follwing error.

is AOFO installed wrong? how to repair it?

Why it only wants me to choose a windows 2000 server? (see the pic below)

Hi,

It is only for Windows 2000 due to the lack of VSS in the OS. BE gets around it when you run that wizard.

From your side, there is no need to run the wizard at all on Win 2K3 and above. In the job itself, all you have to do is select AOFO option, and let BE decide which VSS to use. That's all...
