Access denied error when using AOFO

When using AOFO I got error messages like below. The folders that gives the error are not always the same.

Backup- \\EKONOMI\D: V-79-57344-33928 - Access is denied.
Access denied to directory serverapp\AABBank\.

Backup- \\EKONOMI\C: V-79-57344-33928 - Access is denied.
Access denied to directory RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-484763869-492894223-1957994488-1118\.

If I run the same backup job without AOFO this error is gone (instead I got errors for some files that is in use and can't be backed up).
The errors are generated on several different servers backed up by remote agent. I am not sure if it ever has happened on the local media server, but maybe it has.
I have tried to run the job both as "Local system" and "Administrator", it doesn't matter.

What to do?

Thanks
Micke

Hello,

Please note that access denied is a permissions related issue.

Hello!

My problem is that I only got the error when running backup with AOFO. If I run the same job without AOFO everything works fine. So the solution is a little more complicated than just permission. As I wrote, I already run the backup job as "Local system", I have also tried to run as domain administrator, but I got the same problem.

Hello,

- Kindly perform the following:

1. Run AOFO Wizard from TOOLS | WIZARDS | Advanced Open File Option

2. Connect to the machine reporting the AOFO error

3. Remove the check box for "Use Default"

4. Type in a volume with the most free space, example: E:\ (Use local
drive)

5. Press "Next" two times and then select Finish.

6. A successful backup will report:

Also ensure that Backup Exec Logon account that is being used to connect
particular resource has sufficient rights ( administrative privileges) to
the particular resource.

Create new backup job and submit it.
