Hallo all,

I'm having a really big problem with one of our Exchange storage groups.

Configuration:

Exchange server:

In the First Storage Group we have two mailbox stores:
"Mailbox Store" (default)
"Mailboxes Store

Agent runs as :local system Account:
Default backup account is: Admin
Admin has full right on the system and on the exchange server.

The problem:

When we run the backup the first mailbox store "mailbox store goes fine. But when we try to backup the second one we get the following errors:

Job status:
Job ended: vrijdag 10 February 2006 at 15:38:13
Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xa0008488 - Access is denied.
Final error category: Security Errors

Thinks we done:
1) The logon account information the jobs uses is correct.
2) I have disabled the virus scan software.
3) Reset the logon account information.

Does any one have any suggestions?

Hello Robert!

Do you get the same issue also when you backup just your MS information store?

Regards,
Ashutosh

Hello Ashutosh,

Yes.

but the pproblem solved it self when i did a reboot. I know, i tried it before and that didn't work. But the last time worked...

So my problem is solved for now. But it is a weird problem.
