Adamm Mover Error

My backup job sits on Loading Media.
In my server logs I get:

Adamm Mover Error: Unload Status Failure!
Error = ERROR_NOT_READY
Drive = "Seagate 1"
{E8773A65-95C0-4667-B122-9667A6BA86F1}
Media = ""
{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}
Read Mode: SingleBlock(0), ScsiPass(0)
Write Mode: SingleBlock(0), ScsiPass(0)

I've read the article on this happening during an Eject but this is during scheduled backups.
It is Backup Exec 9.0 on Windows 2000.

I am having the same error message. I think my error is happening even when the backup device (A Dell Powervault 132T) isn't being used. I am still looking into it.

The issue may be due to incorrect media in the drive. Have you tried using a fresh media? Erase the media in the drive and then check the results.
By design the loading media status of a backup job indicates that Backup Exec is awaiting correct (overwritable) media to be inserted in the tape drive. Usually, an alert is pending to be responded.

This error seems to be happening with every piece of media I have in the device (I have 12 tapes in right now, and half of them are brand new out of the box). In the error there is a place for the media identifier, but it is blank... so I suspect it is something else, but this weekend I will pull out all the media except one tape, and see if I can repro the error, then I will erase the media and see if it happens again.

However, if the issues still persist then refer to the additional suggestions mentioned below:

It would be better if you directly upgrade free of cost to BE v9.1:

Also update the firmware of the tape device to the latest.
