Hello--new to the forum, so forgive me if I am doing something incorrectly :) ...
So Friday we had a hardware failure of our Dell PowerVault 124T tape drive and replaced the entire unit. This connects to our BE server (W2k3, R2, 4GB RAM, Xeon 5130 2.00 GHz x2) via SCSI and backs up several servers in our domain. We didn't change any configuration on the tape drive or in BE, but for some reason when attempt our weekly full backup, our write speeds are in the 66-70 MB/Min range where normally, we see write speeds of up to 2K. Is there something I'm overlooking in the configuration here?
