Agent on DC

Hi!

I installed Backup Exec 12 agent on my Windows 2003 64bit Std Domain Controller to include its System State in the Backup Job but after restating the DC it is not visible in the Backup Selection List.

I installed the agent from Backup Exec Console same like i am installing on Desktops and Laptops. Is it the right way to install on Servers?

Hello,

Have you installed DLO agent on the DC or Remote Agent?

If you have installed Remote Agent, go to start-->all prog.-->Symantec-->Remote agent....
Click on the Publishing TAB, Enable Publishing if not enabled-->Add the IP address OR the Name of the Backup Exec Server and restart the Remote Agent Service.

Note : DLO agent is not required on a server OS
