Alternative way to restore public folders other than MAPI?

Hello,
       We have an exchange server where someone has gone and installed Outlook 2003. Ever since I have had MAPI issues on my exchange box.

Are there any other methods of restoring a public folder other than using the MAPI protocol?

You would need to fix MAPI to get this restore done. There is no alternative to MAPI, for restores of public folder or mailboxes.
