Hi,

I have problems taking backup with Microsoft VSS, even though it is the only option. Instead an expired version of AOFO is used.

I have followed the Document ID: 275397, http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/275397.htm
The only option in figure 1 (Document ID: 275397) is Microsoft VSS in our installation.

As you can from the log below, our Backup Exec (version 10.0 rev. 5520) is changing between the two open file options. Our servers are running Windows Server 2003.

What can I do?

Regards, Soeren

Hello,

It seems that Your evaluation copy of the Advanced Open File Option has expired.

As you have deselected an option "Use advanced open file option", have you recreated a backup job after this modification?

If no, create a new backup job and verify the result.
